open source furniture is an experiment in the implementation of the concept of open sourcity to physical objects.

Inspired by a great interest in open source software, I designed and manufactured a table that is capable of being cut out of a single piece of plywood. It was designed with the intention of being able to fit together without the use of screws or fasteners as well as being able to be manufactured with nothing more than a router. Easily proliferated schematics will allow those wishing to make their own table to remix certain aspects of the design to suit their personal needs. It is open source furniture for the masses.
